SDR Agent privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
SDR Agent is a Chrome extension that detects the technology a hotel website uses. This page says what SDR Agent reads, where it keeps it, and how you delete it.
Who runs SDR Agent
SDR Agent is operated by Joan Sanz. Contact: hello@agent.sdr.chat.
What SDR Agent reads on the pages you visit
When you open a web page, SDR Agent looks at that page's code inside your browser to find known booking engines, property management systems, chatbots, review widgets and analytics tools. This check runs on your computer. The page itself is never uploaded. Only the items listed below are saved, and they leave your browser only if you sign in to an SDR Agent account or push a hotel to your own CRM.
SDR Agent does not read passwords, form fields you type into, payment details, emails or messages.
What SDR Agent saves in your browser
- Hotel and restaurant sites only. If a page shows hotel or restaurant technology, SDR Agent saves the site's address, the tools it found and the date.
- Contact details published on that page: email addresses, phone numbers, WhatsApp number, postal address, map link and social profiles that the business shows on its own website. This can include the email of a named staff member if the business publishes it.
- What you add yourself: status, tags, notes, contact name and follow-up dates.
- A visit counter. SDR Agent checks every site you open, hotel or not. To avoid counting a site twice in one day, it keeps the address of each site it checked for 30 days. This list stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
Sites without hotel or restaurant technology are not added to your hotel list.
What SDR Agent stores in your account
An SDR Agent account is optional. Without one, everything above stays in your browser.
If you sign in, SDR Agent copies your saved hotels, their contact details and your notes to your account so you do not lose them and can use them on another computer. SDR Agent also stores:
- Your email address, to sign you in and to tell you about changes to this policy.
- The date of your last sign-in.
- Your sessions: one per browser where you signed in, with a device label and its start date. A session ends after 90 days or when you sign out, and is then deleted.
- Sign-in codes you request, stored in a form that cannot be read back, with the time of the request. They are deleted after 24 hours.
When you delete a hotel, its content is removed from your account. Only a marker that the hotel was deleted remains, so your other browsers remove it too.
- Account data is stored with Cloudflare (database hosted in Western Europe).
- Sign-in codes are sent by email through Brevo.
SDR Agent does not sell your data, does not show ads and does not share your data with anyone else. SDR Agent has no advertising or analytics trackers.
Sending a hotel to your own CRM
You can connect SDR Agent to a CRM that you control. When you press the button to push a hotel, SDR Agent sends that hotel's details to the address you configured. Nothing is sent to a CRM unless you press that button.
How SDR Agent complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
SDR Agent's use of the information it reads through Chrome follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. SDR Agent uses the data only to provide the features described on this page.
How to delete your SDR Agent data
- In your browser: open SDR Agent, go to Settings, Data, and use "Wipe ALL data". Removing the extension also deletes everything stored in the browser.
- In your account: write to hello@agent.sdr.chat from the email you signed in with. Your account and all its data are deleted from the live database within 30 days. Database backups expire up to 30 days after that.
If you work at a hotel listed by an SDR Agent user
SDR Agent only records contact details that a business shows on its own public website. To have your details removed, write to hello@agent.sdr.chat. We delete them from the accounts we host. We cannot reach copies that a user keeps in their own browser.
Your rights over your SDR Agent data
SDR Agent processes your account data to provide the service you signed up for. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask to correct it or ask to delete it by writing to hello@agent.sdr.chat. If you are in the European Union you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes to the SDR Agent privacy policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes. Users with an account are told by email before a change that affects their data applies.
